Because you don’t know what you don’t know! A consult will help you learn about your treatment and ask any questions, so you can feel fully informed and know exactly what to expect.
Importantly we will also learn all about you! We need to know about your health, lifestyle, and expectations. With this information, we can keep you safe, minimise any risk and get you the results you want. In some cases, you can have your first treatment during the same appointment.

Absolutely! The Picoway technology allows us to treat selected areas without collateral damage.
We can sharpen edges, remove “blow out” or take those 90’s tribal lines off your masterpiece. Our tattoo removal is scar-free. You’ll have the perfect canvas for your cover-up, with no compromise.
We recommend waiting 3-6 months after your last laser treatment before starting new tattoo work, and will happily work alongside your tattooist to work out exactly what we need to fade or remove.

Benign pigmented lesions are a common cosmetic concern. There are different types and for various reasons. Freckles, age spots, lentigines, Nevus of Ota, Cafe-au-Lait and more. Faces and hands are most commonly affected by moderate sun exposure or photo damage.
These types of pigment involve factors such as location, depth, size and pigment type that determine the number of treatments required. Some lesions will require several treatments for optimal results, where some can be resolved in just one.
With the Picoway laser we are able to selectively treat the melanin pigmentation. Ultrashort picosecond pulses ensure the pigment is effectively shattered into minuscule particles that can easily be eliminated by the body’s natural processes, while the least amount of heat gets transferred to the skin.
We stock Aspect Dr Cosmeceuticals for the best home care to ensure safety and long term solutions for your pigmentation removal journey.

We carefully select a handpiece, matching the tattoo colour, or pigmentation type to the correct wavelength and accurately trace your tattoo.
The handpiece delivers energy with a highly precise, high power laser in extremely short pulses to target ink particles, or pigmentation with great impact. These pulses shatter the pigment into minuscule particles that are easily removed by your body's immune system.
The smaller the particle the more easily the body can flush it out. This happens over multiple treatments spaced 8-10 weeks apart.

There are many factors that determine how many treatments you’ll require. After your complimentary consultation, pricing begins at $100 dependent on the size of the tattoo.
The Picoway laser has the highest peak power of any pico laser, resulting in more effective treatment outcomes which means fewer treatments are required to get the job done. Ultimately this is what makes it the best value. At your consultation, we will work together to build a timeline for your treatment so you have a clear picture of your next steps and what to expect during the process.
When you are ready to go back to the future ask us about our Marty McFly package. Pre pay 4 treatments and get 5! T&C's apply. Learn more about our pricing options here.

Of course! But you already knew that. The great thing is tattoo removal is a fast process, much quicker than that tattoo you sat through.
Comparatively the Picoway Laser is more comfortable than its predecessors, but because we know no one likes pain, TCP invested in a Zimmer. The Zimmer blows cryogen cooled air across the skin making treatment a breeze - get it?!
Good news if you are concerned with Pigmentation, your treatment is comfortable, sometimes even relaxing! -
Whilst Laser treatments are very safe there are some exceptions. We can’t treat you if you have a tan, or have had recent sun exposure. This includes fake tan. We can’t treat you if you are taking roaccutane or some photosensitising medicines. Sorry expectant baby mumma’s, you can't be treated either. We are more than happy to clarify and explain so please don’t hesitate to ask.
Similarly there are some very important aftercare instructions that you must adhere to. We will go over these in your consultation and you will be given an after care sheet. Please consider you will have to plan around some of the following. No sun exposure in the treated area. Avoid heat for 48 hours, this includes spas, saunas, even hot showers and baths. No rigorous exercise for 24 hours.
Importantly - support a healthy immune system. The success of your treatment relies on immune function to get those white blood cells evicting the unwanted pigment we’ve just shattered. It’s a big job you are asking your body to do, so send in the cheerleaders to motivate the macrophages.
Drink water. It improves circulation and blood flow. Shattered pigment will move more easily and repair will happen more efficiently.
Eat well. Good nutrition will improve cellular repair. Think vege and lean proteins to fuel your bod with all the vitamins and minerals needed as building blocks to healthy skin cells. Movement and Rest. Balance is the key here and instructions will vary for each individual. No rigorous exercise for the first 24 hours, but exercise and rest are both important in supporting a healthy immune system. The right amount of exercise will strengthen a system, improving general well being and blood flow, but be mindful to also rest. If the system is under stress, it wont prioritise shifting the pigment.
Smoking and Alcohol will slow down your progress. It’s no secret that these guys aren’t good for you. When it comes to tattoo removal they are definitely not on your side. Inhibiting your liver and kidneys from filtering the shattered pigment, decreasing blood flow at the skin's surface and contributing to dehydration. Reducing smoking and drinking will improve circulation and your immune response.
